At Calyx, we believe in making a positive impact in our communities. That includes not only a commitment to enhancing health, safety and the environment, but also recognizing that we are a part of the community and have a responsibility for its growth and success. We continually seek to provide support to the communities in which we work and live.
We are a proud supporter of the Wetumka FFA as well as other community events in the area.
For the last several years we have sponsored numerous engineering interns from the University of Tulsa to help them gain real world experience in the industry.
In Houston, we’re proud to support the Youth Development Center, a licensed nonprofit whose mission is to inspire, equip and guide economically disadvantaged children in the city’s Fifth Ward. The organization coordinates a results-based program to provide students with transportation, character guidance, nutritious meals, field trips and summer-enrichment opportunities.
The Broken Arrow Public Schools in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, is another organization we sponsor. Since 1982, they’ve positively influenced education in the community by funding incentive grants to teachers. Its collaborative, community approach to education has been an inspiration.
